Local boy outfitters internship summer 2025-present

During my time at Local Boy Outfitters, I collaborated closely with the creative team to design original camo patterns, graphics, and apparel concepts for the Fall 2026, Spring 2027, and Fall 2027 men’s and women’s collections.

My role involved conducting trend research, sketching concepts, building repeat patterns in the Adobe Suites, and developing detailed apparel mockups while refining designs through fast-paced team critiques and revisions. I contributed multiple original pattern and camo concepts, helping expand and refine the visual direction of the Local Girl line by introducing more trend-driven pattern work that aligned with the brand’s evolving women’s market. Several of my designs were selected for production, including a leopard-inspired camo, polka dot, and striped patterns that were incorporated into hats accessories and tees in the Fall 2026 collection, directly contributing to the growth and visual identity of Local Girl.

This experience gave me hands-on exposure to the full apparel design process, from early concept development and trend forecasting to mockups and production planning. Working alongside experienced designers strengthened my creative confidence, sharpened my design workflow, and solidified my passion for apparel, surface design, and brand storytelling.
