Local Boy Outfitters Internship

During my internship with Local Boy Outfitters, I worked closely with the creative team to develop original graphics, camo patterns, and apparel concepts for upcoming seasonal collections. From initial trend research to final mockups, I contributed to a fast-paced design process that emphasized both creativity and brand consistency. This experience strengthened my skills in Adobe Illustrator, pattern development, apparel design, and collaborative design, while allowing me to play a role in evolving the visual direction of the brand, particularly in expanding the identity of Local Girl through fresh, trend-driven concepts!

The process

My work is rooted in hand illustration, where each design begins with sketching by hand to capture personality, movement, and detail that feels authentic and intentional. From there, I translate my drawings digitally, refining line work, color, and composition in Adobe Illustrator while preserving the original hand-done quality. My process blends traditional and digital techniques to create artwork that feels personal, thoughtful, and full of life.
